i stumbled across this clip today and watched it over and over. well, the first time i was a bit shocked, but the sound fx and slow-mo are perfect, and it took me back to high school with the sf2 reference...
i remember capcom charged 10$ more for the game because it was the first one to have 16megs of memory, which blew minds at the time.
Most difficult move? Dhalsim's teleportation. Cheapest move? Blanka's electric charge.
Favorite character? Guile and his fighter plane background.

"The King"?

In a former post, i praised baron davis and the Warriors for their upset win in the Mavs series, but i'm a solid 100% Pistons fan and watching their series against cleveland has been a sobering stretch of frustration. This picture to the right exemplifies my feeling about last night's game when LeBron took his whole team and strapped them to his back en route to a 49pt. game 5 win. As fucking amazing as it was to watch LeBron play at Jordan level halfway through the fourth and especially through the 2 overtimes, it was against my Pistons. That kind of performance is one for the ages, and it came at the cost of seeing my team being pushed to the edge of summer conditioning and a possible re-structuring of the makeup of the team. As if you couldn't tell, i'm the unicorn in receiving, but it was a bit glorious.
